Three 20-year-olds accused of driving under the influence

DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) – Over the weekend, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three 20-year-olds, all from Buffalo, on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol on the southern tier.

The first arrest came around 1:45 a.m. on Saturday on Rt. 60 in the Town of Dunkirk. Deputies say they stopped Hunter Giordano for speeding and found he was under the influence of alcohol. Giordano was detained before being released on appearance tickets for speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana. He will appear before a DMV law judge to answer a zero-tolerance violation for allegedly being under the influence of alcohol.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputies arrested Patrick Donahue after stopping him for failing to stop for a red light on Rt. 20 in the Village of Fredonia. Deputies say Donahue was drunk. He’s facing charges of DWI, DWI per se and passing a red signal.

An hour later on Rt. 60 in the Town of Pomfret, Amanda Kemowski was stopped for not having her lights on. Deputies say she was under the influence of alcohol. She will appear before a DMV law judge to answer a zero-tolerance violation.
