Driver arrested for DWI-drugs, passenger also arrested

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A traffic stop by an Erie County Sheriff’s deputy led to the arrest of the driver and passenger of car Monday night in Buffalo.

The deputy stopped the car for speeding and after sobriety tests, police say it was determined that Bruce Stoltz, 22, of Buffalo, was under the influence of drugs. A small bag of marijuana was also found in his possession. Stoltz was charged with DWI-Drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana.

The female passenger in the car, Ashley Wiatroeski, also 22, of Buffalo, was found to be in possession of three narcotic pills. She was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.
