BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Police say a man who ran a red light in the City of Buffalo was drunk, driving on a suspended license, in possession of marijuana, and wanted on a warrant out of Cheektowaga.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, troopers stopped Lamar Young on Best Street when they say he ran a red light. Officers say the 35-year-old failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. He later refused a breath test.

Young is charged with DWI, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and several vehicle and traffic violations. He was turned over to Cheektowaga Police.
