Two drivers seriously injured in head-on crash in Amherst

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Amherst Police are investigating a head-on crash that left two drivers in serious condition.

Around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, officers say a Chevy Trailblazer driven by 60-year-old Timothy Wojdan of Cheektowaga crossed the double yellow lines on Wehrle Drive just west of Columbia Drive and crashed head-on into a Nissan driven by 32-year-old Shawndre Everette of Buffalo.

Wojdan suffered back injuries while Everette suffered leg injuries. Both are in serious condition.
