JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Troopers stopped an alleged drunk driver they say they saw drive onto the curb and veer between lanes.
State Police were flagged down by a motorist on April 27, who said there was an erratic driver in Jamestown. Troopers caught up to the woman on Washington Street, where they say they saw her fail to use a turn signal, drive onto the curb, and veer between lanes before they initiated a traffic stop.
Officers say 30-year-old Kristy Wisniewski failed field sobriety tests and a breath test revealed a BAC of .26 percent, which is more than three times the legal limit.
She is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation. After being arraigned, she was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.
