New daycare center will operate 23-hours a day

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A new daycare center will be the first in Western New York to be open almost all week long.

The Erma “D” Robinson Universal Center will cater to shift workers at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. Parents can start signing up their children now.

The center will accommodate up to 91-students up to 4-years-old, 23-hours a day.

Director Elaine Hayes said, “Giving parents a place where they can leave their children, knowing that their children are safe, they’re being educated, they’re being fed and well taken care of. We have certified staff on board, we have 24-hour security on board, to protect our students. So we are ready, set to go.”

The daycare is in the Reverend Dr. Bennett W Smith-Senior Universal Spiritual Learning Institute on Michigan Avenue in Buffalo. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
