Bills punter hosts 8th annual Celebrity Wine Pairing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo Bills punter Brian Moorman and his wife hosted the 8th annual Celebrity Wine Pairing at Asbury Hall in Buffalo Friday evening.

The popular event raises money for Moorman’s P.U.N.T. Foundation, which helps children facing cancer and their families.

“All the money we raise here stays right here in Western New York, goes directly to families, and we just try to make a difference here in the community,” Moorman said.

The Bills released Moorman in September 2012, but he was re-signed by the team in October 2013. The punter says that time away makes being back all the more special.

“I’ve seen exactly what I always knew about the Buffalo community and that’s just that their arms are always wide open and they’re always willing to give you a bear hug. And the way that they welcomed me back, I’ll never forget.”

Guests at the wine pairing included local pro-athletes and country music star Jack Ingram. The event was hosted by Rich “Bull” Gaenzler of 103.3 The Edge.
