ALLEGANY, N.Y. (WIVB) – A southern tier man was arrested late Thursday night after a raid at an apartment on Rt. 417 in Allegany.

Authorities say an investigation into the sale of cocaine in Allegany, Olean and Salamanca that has spanned several months led them to 30-year-old Thomas Stanczykowski. He was arrested around 9 p.m. at his apartment, where officers say they seized around three ounces of cocaine with a street value of $8,500, around $5,000 in cash, scales, a quantity of pills, weapons and drug paraphernalia.

Stanczykowski is charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
