ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Bills followed a familiar theme in the NFL Draft’s final round, taking another linebacker and another offensive lineman.
Randell Johnson from Florida Atlantic arrived with Buffalo’s first of two seventh rounders. They followed the pick by taking offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson out of Miami.
Henderson was one of the top recruits in the nation out of high school, but a series of drug-related suspensions leave some serious red flags as an NFL prospect. Henderson said he is grateful for the chance.
“I just didn’t know when I was going to get a phone call,” said Henderson. “I was just nervous and all that and it was just a whole bunch of things going through my mind and I’m just glad that now it’s final.”
