Career criminal who stole Christmas gifts sentenced

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A career criminal, who has been in and out of prison for much of his life, is going back to prison for a long time.

In court on Monday, a judge sentenced 49-year-old Anthony Mills to 32 years to life in prison.

In 2011, he broke into homes on Grand Island and Elma back and stole wrapped Christmas presents, jewelry and electronics.

Since 1980, Mills has been arrested more than 20 times and has 16 convictions, many of them felonies.
