East Aurora students win Envirothon

EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WIVB) – East Aurora High School students finished first in this year’s Erie County Envirothon. It was held last month in Elma. The Envirothon is a competition that tests students’ knowledge about environmental topics.

The students prepared rigorously for the test. In March, they spent a day working with scientists in different environmental fields. The senior team will move on to represent Erie County at the New York State Envirothon.

That’s happening at SUNY Morrisville later this month.
