Investigation into drug sales at N. Tonawanda business

NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) – Deputies say a two-month investigation into drug sales at Joe’s Budapest Cafe in North Tonawanda ended with the arrest of Jerred Meisenberg.

The 35-year-old was taken into custody Friday night and charged with third degree criminal possession and sale of a controlled substance.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office did not elaborate on Meisenberg’s position at the Schenck Street cafe, but did say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be pending. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
