Poll shows 65 percent of moms work in NYS

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A lot of moms are heading back to work Monday, after enjoy Mother’s Day with their family. An Ancestory.com poll shows shows how many moms work in each state.

South Dakota came out on top, with nearly 80 percent of moms. North Dakota is second, with Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska rounding out the top five.

New York comes in at 65 percent, Pennsylvania at 68 percent.

The state with the lowest percentage of working moms is West Virginia at just 59 percent.
