Fl. congresswoman to speak at Daemen

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) – Daemen College will welcome one of the most powerful women in Washington D.C. to campus on Tuesday. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz will speak to students about national politics and policy as part of the school’s Distinguished Leaders Lecture Series.

Her speech is at 1 p.m. and it’s free and open to the public. The Florida Democrat is a breast cancer survivor. She is expected to tour Roswell Park Cancer Institute as well.
