Community comes together after crime

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A community is coming together to pray for peace, after a crime against children. The group wants to spread the message that violence is unacceptable.

The Stop the Violence Coalition of Buffalo is organizing a community barbeque on Fennimore Avenue. It starts at 6 p.m.

Someone shot two children earlier this week, a 14-year-old and a 3-year-old. Both are now recovering at Women and Children’s Hospital. The gunman is still at large.
