NEW YORK, N.Y. (WIVB) - New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft voiced his support for the Bills staying in western New York Thursday night.
Kraft told news 4 Sports Lauren Brill in New York City that he fully supports keeping the Bills in their home town, and will do everything he can to try and make it happen.
The NFL needs approval from 24 owners in order for a franchise to change hands. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said last week that vote would be only half the equation if any potential owner planned to relocate the franchise. The relocation vote would be entirely separate, if it came to that.
The Bills are still early in the sale process, but the pace will likely pick up once the trust in charge of the sale chooses an investment bank – if they have not done so already – in order to determine the value of the franchise.
