UB’s Mack signs rookie deal with Raiders

Khalil Mack, Reggie McKenzie

Former UB star Khalil Mack signed his first NFL contract Thursday with the Oakland Raiders, becoming the highest-drafted player to sign so far this week.

Mack, the 5th overall pick during last week’s NFL Draft, reportedly signed a fully-guaranteed four-year contract, with a standard fifth-year option for first round picks. NFL.com’s Albert Breer reported the deal is worth $18,677,002.

He is the second first-round pick to sign so far this week, joining Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller, the 14th overall selection.

Mack will wear number 52 with the Raiders.
