Buffalo to launch bicycle-friendly plan

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) –
The weather is not ideal Friday, but it’s National Ride your Bike to Work Day. To mark the occasion, Buffalo wants to get a little more biker friendly.

Mayor Byron Brown will join GObike Buffalo and the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus to announce the launch of the city’s development of a bicycle master plan. The document will outline a network of bicycle lanes and paths.

The city says they are committed to becoming a premier bicycle friendly city.
