Canisius extends win streak to 16 games

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Canisius baseball is on a tear, extending the nation’s longest winning streak to 16 games this afternoon with a doubleheader sweep against Monmouth.

The Griffs won 9-2 and 16-4 to finish the regular season with a 38-14 record. Highlights from the second game tonight included homeruns from Jake Lumley and Jesse Kelso.

Canisius set a pair of program records with the wins today, with its 16th home win of the season and 20th win in conference play.
