Homeland Security raids Hamburg home for child porn

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) – Homeland Security was hunting for child pornography at a Hamburg home Thursday afternoon.

A home on Highland Avenue was raided by agents and State Police. They seized several items as part of the investigation. Those items will now go through a forensic analysis.

The home belongs to Dale Neseman, an independent cartoonist. He and his wife have not been charged and were not arrested.

Neighbor Tom Magee said, “This whole thing is just baffling to me. The idea that heavy duty law enforcement was here this morning, I’m just completely baffled by it, I have no idea.”

“I’ve known him and his wife. They’re wonderful people; they’re just great. I’m very happy to have them as neighbors.”

Homeland Security is not releasing further details about the raid, including what led up to it.
