Loans to help bring old structures back to life

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) –
Some lucky buildings around Buffalo will get a new lease on life Friday. Mayor Byron Brown will roll out the next round of Buffalo Building Reuse Project funding.

The money helps finance developers who want to bring older structures back to life. Each developer can receive up to $750,000 in funding for their adaptive reuse project.

The program also intends to complement the significant building resurgence in downtown Buffalo. The city says there is over $4.3 billion in economic development activity underway.
