Parkside Tour of Homes held Sunday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Visitors got a look at some historic buildings in Buffalo’s Parkside neighborhood Sunday. The Parkside Community Association offered its 16th annual tour of homes, including 9 homes and a restaurant that’s in the process of being renovated.

The tour included the conservatory of the Darwin Martin House complex.

People who live in the neighborhood consider the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed home their treasure.

“We have such historic home stock. This is really a great opportunity for homeowners to invite people in to see the quality of the homes that we have here,” said Amber Small, who organized the tour. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
