Expired inspection sticker leads to numerous charges

SHELDON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A 20-year-old is facing numerous charges after being stopped early Thursday morning in the Town of Sheldon.

Deputies pulled Travis Hartloff over on Rt. 98 around 6:30 a.m. for driving with an expired inspection sticker. But the sheriff’s office says Hartloff was driving on a license with four active suspensions and he had an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle.

Hartloff was arrested on charges of having an uninspected motor vehicle, displaying a forged inspection, second degree aggravated unlicensed operation and underage possession of alcohol.

He’s due back in court next month.
