Man accused of stealing food from break room

BROCTON, N.Y. (WIVB) – A southern tier man was arrested last week after allegedly breaking into a business and stealing food from the employees’ break room.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office was called to Jamestown Plastics in the Village of Brocton around 5:30 a.m. last Wednesday. Employees told deputies a man had broken out a window in the break room and was found inside stealing food. When he was spotted, he fled out the window.

Deputies accompanied by Westfield Police were able to find the suspect, 24-year-old Adam Neubauer of Brocton, a short time after the call came in. He is charged with third degree burglary, third degree criminal mischief, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

After being arraigned, he was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
