Man surrenders to police after fatal stabbing

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Buffalo man surrendered to police Monday morning, after a fatal stabbing on May 9.

Buffalo Police say 42-year-old Edward Hubbs admitted to stabbing 48-year-old George Waddell Jr. inside an apartment on Brewster Street. Police did not release the motive in the case.

Police say detectives developed a person of interest in the case, and early Monday morning Waddell surrendered. He is charged with murder in the second degree.
