Congresswoman Slaughter’s husband passes away

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) – Congresswoman Louise Slaughter is mourning the loss of her husband of 57 years.

Her office issued a statement saying the lawmaker’s husband Robert passed away Tuesday in Washington, D.C. at the age of 82.

The statement went on to say, “Mrs. Slaughter and her family deeply appreciate the thoughts and prayers of the community as they work through this difficult time.”
