Falcon cam to show birds grow, spread wings

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The University at Buffalo has posted the popular Falcon Cam to their website, that is being recorded on South Campus. The peregrine falcons nest in the tower of Mackay Heating Plant.

Each year, western New Yorkers log online and check out the falcons as they grow and spread their wings. Peregrine falcons are an endangered species in New York.

The included photo was posted to UB’s website, showing Yankee the male falcon.

UB’s website shows different camera angles for you to chose from when looking in the nest.
