Budweiser Clydesdales to visit popular spots in WNY

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – You have the opportunity to see the famous Budweiser Clydesdales this Wednesday. They’re already in Buffalo to celebrate their 81st anniversary with Anheuser-Busch.

The Erie County Fair’s marketing director says she’s excited for what the horses will bring to the fair this summer.

Luanne Delaney said, “It’s not often they come to this area and for this year, for our anniversary, and to be apart of Wallenda’s walk, you know we couldn’t be happier.”

You don’t have to wait until the fair to see the Clydesdales up close. A team of eight horses will make their way through the Elmwood Village Thursday night. They’ll leave the Albright Knox at 7 p.m. and end at the American Red Cross, on Delaware Avenue.

On Friday night, one horse will be on hand at the Tops, on Center Road, in Lewiston.

The whole team will move to Goat Island and the Seneca Niagara Casino on Sunday.
