ECIDA approves tax abatements for building on Main St.



BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – There are some new plans for an old building Thursday morning in Buffalo. The Erie County Industrial Development Agency approved $64,000 in tax abatements to help with renovations to a 135-year-old building on on Main Street, at West Ferry.

Sinatra and Company is converting the 30,000-square-foot structure into apartment and retail space.
It will likely cost a total of $1.6 million. The apartments should be ready to rent by this fall, and are expected to cost an average of $1,250 a month.

Two potential retail clients are in talks with the developer.
