Speeding stop leads to DWI arrest

ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man stopped for speeding in Elma is now facing charges of DWI.

State police pulled over a Chrysler 300 on Transit Road in Elma about 7:25 p.m. on May 22nd. Police say the driver, Todd Licht, 58, of Riverview Avenue in North Tonawanda, appeared to be drunk.

Troopers arrested Licht for DWI. Police say his blood alcohol concentration was .16%, twice the legal limit.

He was issued traffic tickets to return to Town of Elma Court at a later date.
