2 women facing drug charges after a traffic stop

TOWN OF CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) Two women from Bradford, Pennsylvania are facing drug charges after a vehicle stop in the Town of Concord.

Erie County Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle on Route 219, south of Genesee Rd., for allegedly speeding, Friday night.

Authorities say the driver, 32 year old Amber L. Bunce and the passenger, 19 year old Karlie A. Ryan, had over 8 ounces of marijuana, various narcotic pills as well as $15,000 in cash and drug packaging materials.

Both were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd.  Bunce was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd and traffic infractions.

Police seized the cash and the vehicle.Both Bunce and Ryan were taken to the Erie County Holding Center and held for arraignment in the Town of Concord Court.
