Gillibrand fights on-campus sexual assaults

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – New York’s junior senator is leading a new charge to make college campuses safer.

Kirsten Gillibrand is pushing for changes to stop on-campus sexual assaults. She and several other senators sent a letter to the White House Task Force to Protect Students from sexual assault.

The group’s proposals include the US Education Department dedicating an employee to sexual violence and criminal complaints.
