HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) — New developments in the case of an embattled school board member are expected in hamburg, Tuesday afternoon.

The district’s website marks this as a special school board meeting and hearing. Board members are expected to discuss official misconduct charges against one of their own.

Other school board members say Catherine Forcucci has acted inappropriately both during meetings and outside of her official position.

Police are still looking into, what they’re calling, a verbal altercation from February, between Forcucci and a district principal.

Last September, police were called when they say Forcucci refused to leave the district’s administrative office, even after the interim superintendent asked her to leave.

Forcucci was elected to the school board last year.

Tuesday’s meeting starts at 6:30 pm in the administrative offices building. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
