Man robbed Tim Hortons in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Jamestown Police are looking for the man who robbed the Tim Hortons at 21 South Main Street Monday night.

Police say the robber entered the store just before 10 p.m., walked behind the counter and demanded money from the cashier. He did not show a weapon but held his hand in his pocket suggesting he may have had one.

He took off on foot across Harrison Street. No one was hurt.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a dark-skinned Hispanic male in his mid 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 140 pounds. He was wearing a bulky black jacket with a hood and red stitching, long blue jean shorts and white shoes.

Police have released a surveillance picture of the suspect emptying a register but it is of poor quality.
