Buffalo and WNY celebrate Pride Week

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Buffalo and Western New York are celebrating Pride Week with a week full of events to support the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender community.

The Pride Center will host a 5K race that will make its way through downtown Buffalo Thursday. The Pride Parade kicks off Sunday at 1 p.m. at Elmwood Avenue and Forest. All of the events lead up to the Pride Festival at Canalside on Sunday.
