Heroin investigation leads to three arrests

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Three people are facing drug charges in Jamestown after being arrested during an investigation into the sales and trafficking of heroin.

Investigators say they went to an apartment on Crescent Street to execute a search warrant and saw 27-year-old Jensen Vasquez leave the location. Police stopped the vehicle he was in and say they found Vasquez and 22-year-old Salena Hare to be in possession of a large quantity of heroin and cash.

Investigators then searched the apartment, where they say they found more heroin. Police arrested 25-year-old Janelle Cornelius inside the apartment.

All three are under arrest and facing charges, and police say more arrests are expected.
