Joint investigation into drug sales at SUNY Alfred ends in four arrests

ALFRED, N.Y. (WIVB) – A joint investigation into the sale of marijuana and cocaine on the SUNY Alfred campus led to the arrest of four people on Wednesday.

State Police along with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and Alfred University Police arrested 18-year-old Travis Froio of Macedon, 19-year-old Patrick Summers of Deposit, 20-year-old Jonathan Monsees of Schoharie, and 18-year-old Marcus Thomas of Jamestown.

Froio and Summer are both charged with third and fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana, fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana, and unlawful possession of marijuana. Monsees is charged with fourth degree criminal sale of marijuana and unlawful possession of marijuana. And Thomas is charged with third degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance.
