Man sentenced to 10 years for trying to rob pizzeria

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A man who tried to rob a popular pizza shop is going to prison for the next 10 years.

A judge sentenced Terence Price Wednesday morning for robbery and weapons possession. Last October, the 21-year-old walked up to an employee in the parking lot outside LaNova and stole cash from a bank bag at gunpoint. But as he fled, employees gave chase.

Price opened fire on his pursuers, who were undaunted and chased him down. Once caught, employees held Price until police arrived.

Prosecutors say he was already on probation at the time. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
