Officers to run Flame of Hope through Jamestown

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Law enforcement officers in the southern tier are gearing up for the state Special Olympics.

More than 50 officers will run the Flame of Hope through Jamestown, Wednesday. This is the 28th year for the run.

The included video is from when the torch was in Niagara Falls a couple years ago.

The law enforcement torch run is the largest grassroots fundraising and public awareness vehicle for Special Olympics in the world.
