BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A former postmaster from Falconer will serve two-years probation for stealing from the U.S. Postal Service.

Prosecutors say between February 1999 and July 2013, Donna Spencer, 51, accepted cash payments from customers for the purchase of postage stamps but kept the money for herself.

Spencer had worked for the Postal Service since 1986. An audit of the Frewsburg office determined that she had stolen $14,023.50 over a span of more than 14 years.

In addition to probation, Spencer was also ordered to pay all of that money back.
