LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) – Law enforcement officials arrested a worker at a Lockport bar for serving alcohol to a minor.

Marissa Ebbole, 19, who works at the Lockport Pub, is charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sales. Both are misdemeanor charges. She is scheduled to appear in City of Lockport Court at a later date.

The arrest was part of an undercover operation run Thursday night in Niagara County with the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, State Police and NY State Liquor Authority. The operation went to 16 bars throughout Niagara County to see if an underage operative would be served alcohol.

Fifteen of the 16 bars refused to serve the operative. Only Ebbole at Lockport Pub did not refuse to serve the operative and was arrested. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
