Baseball facilities meet needs of Miracle League players

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – It’s game on for the Miracle League of Grand Island and Western New York.

Opening day was Sunday, and former Buffalo Sabres Derek Smith and Darryl Shannon threw out the first pitch. The league provides opportunities for children and young adults with disabilities to play baseball, with special facilities that meet their needs.
