Mass Mob fills All Saints Church

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – The power of social media is helping to fill the pews at a local Catholic church. A group called Buffalo Mass Mob converged on All Saints Church for Sunday services. It’s the fourth time the group has gone to a church, to boost attendance and the help the church’s collection basket.

Organizers say the churches they visit are happy to have them stop in.

Buffalo Mass Mob’s Danielle Huber said, “We have had priests in the past who have never seen the attendance that the day of Buffalo mass mob sees, or they haven’t seen it in decades, and the one priest at Saint John Kanty walked around just saying, it was a miracle.”

This isn’t just a Buffalo thing.  Similar mass mobs are taking place in other cities too, including Philadelphia and Cleveland.
