Police look for witnesses who saw house get shot up


JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) – Jamestown police are still looking for witnesses who saw a house get shot up to come forward.

Investigators say someone fired about a dozen shots into the house on the 100 block of West Seventh Street on Friday night just before midnight. Police say several people inside are okay but they could have been injured.

Capt. Robert Samuelson said, “Very serious matter with 12 shots fired into a home, with five people inside when the shots were fired, luckily nobody was hurt, nobody was hit with any rounds or any debris, but we’re still looking for may know anything or may have seen anything to please come forward.”
