Two dead after suspected murder-suicide in Alden


ALDEN, N.Y. (WIVB) – The Erie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that took place on Sandridge Road early Sunday morning in Alden.

Deputies say around 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to a 911 call about a violent domestic dispute. The dispatcher advised several children to leave the home.

After deputies arrived, they made several attempts to contact the two people inside. When they received no response, deputies made entry to the home and found two people inside dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims’ identities are being withheld. Authorities say they both appear to be in their mid-40s.
