Sisters Hospital to open new delivery suites

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Sisters Hospital will open two new labor and delivery suites Tuesday.

When hospital officials cut the ribbon on the those suites, they will mark the completion of an $800,000 construction project to expand the unit. Officials say they needed to grow because the Catholic Health System is taking on more and more patients.

Officials say Sisters Hospital, along with Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, are the only area hospitals with intensive care services to care for high-risk mothers and babies under one roof.
