WNY families push for CPR training legislation

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Some western New York families will be in the state capitol Tuesday, to push for legislation that would bring CPR training to schools.

Studies have shown students are capable of learning and effectively performing CPR. If lawmakers pass the bill, thousands of students would learn how to respond in a cardiac emergency.

The legislation is sponsored by Senator Mark Grisanti. For any constituent interested in supporting the bill, you can help advocate for the CPR in Schools legislation at www.SupportCPRinSchools.org.
