BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – State Police say troopers pulled over a driver after a license plate reader found a suspended registration and ended up arresting the woman for DWI.
Troopers on patrol on Bailey Avenue stopped a vehicle around 10 p.m. when the license plate reader detected a suspended registration. Police say the driver, 29-year-old Samantha Miller of Buffalo, was intoxicated. A breath test reportedly revealed she had a BAC of .19 percent, which is more than twice the legal limit.
Miller is charged with aggravated DWI, operating without insurance, passing on the right and moving from lane unsafely.
She is due back in Buffalo City Court at a later date.
