Local districts rank for spending least per student

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Eight school districts in western New York rank among the top districts in New York State that spent the least per student in 2012, according to Business First.

At number three in the state, Lancaster spent just over $13,000 per student. That’s 36 percent below the state average of about $21,000.

Royalton-Hartland was at number seven, followed by Clarence and Frontier.
