Golisano publicly confirms interest in the Bills

Golisano

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) – Former Sabres owner Tom Golisano publicly confirmed his interest in the Buffalo Bills while speaking at Bishop Kearney High School in Rochester on Thursday.

During his prepared remarks, Golisano said he is not a part of the reported “ownership super group” and that he believes a new stadium is necessary for the future of the Bills. The billionaire has reportedly already met with team officials and public leaders about purchasing the franchise.

Senator Charles Schumer told WROC in an interview on Thursday that bids for the Bills are expected to begin next week.
